what to expect
when booking a session
My background in education has helped me tremendously with photography. My time in the classroom taught me to be flexible and patient. Every child is unique and should be approached that way. Children will have off days. That’s okay! My goal for each photo session is for your family to relax and enjoy! I like to keep things as simple and natural as possible.
before
Before the session, we will discuss location, time and other details such as color scheme and props. I will send you a link to a private client portal, where you will fill out a questionnaire to give me an idea of your style and goals for the photoshoot. Anything you can share with me about your child/children is always helpful to make a connection with them.
I will also send you a client prep guide that will give you a better look at what to expect during the session as well as tips in terms of what to wear, etc.

Relax and enjoy! Arrive at the session focused on having fun with your family... leave the rest to me!
After
After the session, you will be sent a link to a private online gallery where you will be able to select the images you would like to download as part of your package. If you can not decide and would like to purchase additional images, you will be able to do so at that time.
I can help you arrange printing and/or framing if you would prefer, but there is zero obligation.
Sessions typically take place in a park local to Westfield, NJ, but I am happy to accommodate your preference of location and setting in reasonable proximity. Additional travel fees may apply outside local area. I am also available in Monmouth County on a select number of weekends throughout the year without an additional travel fee.
